For months, Albania has honored an agreement with Slovenia, renting out our cherished region of Shkodër to their community, which only happened because we decided to help alliance during first WW and didn't want to be a burden for our alliance while everyone was focused on wiping Bulgaria etc. Despite the economic and strategic difficulties this posed to us—especially for our hardworking players managing companies based in Shkodër—we upheld our end of the deal. For 2.5 months, we showed respect, patience, and cooperation. But now, as the agreement has come to an end, Slovenia, ranked second in the game and emboldened by their numbers, refuses to honor their word.

We, the Albanian community, ranked humbly between 15th and 20th, have always strived for fair play and mutual respect among nations. Instead of returning Shkodër after our deal is done, Slovenia has not only refused but has also resorted to threats of hostility and war. This is a blatant disregard for the values that make our game a thriving global community.

Why Shkodër Matters to Us

Shkodër is more than just a region. It is a symbol of our national pride and a critical asset for our players. The loss of this region has disrupted our economy, weakened our strategic position, and caused unnecessary struggles for our citizens. Yet, despite these hardships, we respected the terms of the deal. Now, we are simply asking for what is rightfully ours.

This resistance war is not just about Albania. It is a stand against injustice and broken promises. If a powerful nation like Slovenia is allowed to trample over smaller communities, what does that say about the spirit of this game?
