Croatia has just been accused of attacking Bosnias sovereignty in this article: https://eclesiar.com/newspaper/66/article/1109
I wanted to add my five cents to the topic, since I happen to know that this is a tactic used by El Comandante in other situations.
Back during the initial Croatian invasion into South Africa, Sweden was unsure if we wanted to intervene or not. South Africa and Australia had Swedish players in their governments and they were asking us for help against an overwhelming invasion. In the end, we made the decision to not intervene but rather have a dialogue with Croatia, at the time led by El Comandante, and warn them against escalating the war. This fell on deaf ears when Australia got nuked for helping South Africa put up resistance. Despite this, me and the rest of the Swedish government took the decision not to get involved, I supported that decision at the time but have since decided that it was a mistake.
While this was happening, we noticed that Ireland (which is a Swedish colony following the end of WW2) suddenly went from having 0 active citizens to having a new player, the day before the presidential election. Looking at his profile, there were no attempts made to hide that he is Croatian: https://eclesiar.com/user/9598
During my talks with El Comandante, he must have felt threatening with Sweden trying to de-escalate the conflict, because El Comandante said the following:
Is this a threat? You make up your own mind.
Since then, the Irish President has been permanently banned. I can only speculate what the reason for that ban was or what rules he could have broken considering that boosting is not against the rules anymore. But take a look at the Eclesiar Rules (if you haven't read it already, please do, ignorance is not an excuse) and consider El Comandantes comment above.
Now, when I found out about the president being banned, I wrote to El Comandante about it, he provided a reason for the ban which none of us have any way to confirm, and then doubled down by admitting to also having control over Irelands vice president https://eclesiar.com/user/9663
During the WET intervention into South Africa, the control over Ireland was used to both start RWs and launch invasions against Sweden, which was more ineffective than surprising.
Now today it all took another interesting turn when El Comandante got a temporary ban: https://eclesiar.com/user/1570
With how brazenly Comandante admits to this practice (which I of course reported at the time), and how he' also accused of PTOing Bosnia using new accounts during their war, something they also have screenshots of him admitting, this situation definitely doesn't look good for El Comandante. We are eagerly following this developing story.
