One thought on the over-extension de-buff since it was mentioned in the most recent patch notes.

For it to deliver on it's apparent intent to equalize the playing field, it may need to also be multiplied by to the difference in number of regions the defending country possesses vs the attacking country.

  • France(9) vs Slovenia (14)? A fair enough fight, but slight debuff advantage to France here.
  • Georgia (1) vs Lithuania (1)? A fair knife fight, feel free to duke it out, nobody is overextended anyway.
  • But Poland (35) vs Ukraine (0) or Russia (0)? Rebellions should be rife and a real challenge for the vastly larger country to keep the locals under control rather than a more boring maintained steamroll.
