POLLUTION CRISIS DEEPENS: VARAZDIN LEADS GLOBAL HOTSPOTS AS MANCHESTER AND NEW DELHI CLOSE BEHIND

A growing environmental crisis is emerging across several major regions of the world, with pollution levels climbing above 59% in every region currently monitored in our latest survey.

The latest figures show an extremely tight race at the top, with Varazdin, Manchester and New Delhi all exceeding 62% pollution.

The contest could hardly be closer. Manchester trails Varazdin by only 0.10 percentage points, while New Delhi remains just 1.72 points behind the current leader.

🇭🇷 VARAZDIN — THE WORLD'S CURRENT HOTSPOT

At 63.89%, Varazdin currently occupies the top position in the pollution rankings.

Its lead is narrow, however. Any significant increase in Manchester's pollution could immediately change the standings.

🇸🇪 MANCHESTER — JUST 0.10 POINTS FROM FIRST

Manchester has reached 63.79%, making it the closest challenger to Varazdin.

The region's situation is particularly notable because its status as an occupied territory adds another layer to the political and economic story surrounding its pollution crisis.

🇮🇳 NEW DELHI — INDIA'S ENVIRONMENTAL WARNING

New Delhi stands at 62.17%, placing the Indian capital third among the regions surveyed.

The figure is particularly significant for India because New Delhi is also the country's capital region. A pollution level above 62% makes the capital one of the most environmentally stressed regions currently identified in this survey.

🇸🇮 LJUBLJANA — STILL ABOVE 60%

Slovenia's Ljubljana records 61.53%, keeping it firmly inside the high-pollution group.

Although it sits fourth, the difference between Ljubljana and the leader is only 2.36 percentage points.

🇸🇦 RIYADH — FIFTH, BUT STILL CRITICALLY HIGH

Riyadh records 59.42%.

It is currently the least polluted of the five regions surveyed, but the distinction is relative: Riyadh remains only 4.47 percentage points below Varazdin.

THE BIG PICTURE

All five surveyed regions are above 59% pollution, while three have already crossed the 62% threshold.

The average pollution level across the five regions is approximately 62.16%.

That means the current survey is not showing one isolated hotspot — it is showing a widespread environmental problem affecting multiple continents.
