The National Chronicle | Special Editorial

India is still young, and that gives us something valuable: an opportunity to decide what kind of country we want to build.

Every new citizen brings something to the country—whether it is through work, business, agriculture, the military, politics, or simply being an active member of the community.

But where should India focus its efforts?

💰 A Strong Economy

A prosperous country needs an economy where citizens can work, produce, trade, and grow.

We should pay attention to the needs of both new and experienced players. A healthy economy should create opportunities for citizens to become stronger while allowing businesses and producers to flourish.

👥 An Active Population

A country's strength isn't only measured by its wealth.

It also depends on how active its citizens are.

India needs people who participate, communicate, work together, and contribute to the community. New citizens should feel that there is a place for them in India's future.

⚔️ A Capable Defence

India must also be prepared to protect its interests.

A strong economy and an organized population can provide the foundation for a capable military. Defence should be taken seriously while also considering the country's wider economic needs.

🏛️ Responsible Politics

Politics should ultimately be about building the country.

Different parties may have different ideas about how India should develop, and healthy political competition can be useful when it encourages better ideas and better leadership.

The important thing is that citizens remain involved.
