The high command reported that the troops maintain a strong position and that progress continues in an orderly manner. The authorities stressed that, despite the intensity of events, efforts are being made to preserve communications, essential services and the security of the civilian population.

The main cities see a climate of caution and expectation. As national forces consolidate their positions, the government maintains that the campaign is going through a decisive stage and that the outcome of the conflict may be near.
