Our newspaper, the Laconian News, is here to inform, inspire and unite the Greek people. As part of this mission, we are thinking of taking an important step: publishing two articles on each topic, one in Greek and one translated into English.
The reason behind this idea is simple: we want to share the Greek perspective and news of our community with the rest of the world. Greece is not just a country; it is a voice that must be heard internationally. Through this change, we aim to:
Wider Coverage: To reach our news to readers who do not speak Greek.
Projecting the Greek Spirit: To show our culture, values and effort to the world.
Your Opinion Counts
Before we proceed, we want to hear from you:
Do you think this change will strengthen our voice or distract from our Greek audience?
Would you like to see our articles in English as well, so you can share them with friends from other communities?
Is there anything you would suggest for this new direction?
What we do is about you, and your opinion is what will shape our future. Send us your feedback, and together we will make the best decision for the newspaper and our community.
An example of a bilingual article is the one you are reading right now
(SORRY IF THE TRANSLATE IS NOT SO ACCURATE)
