Official Statement

Date: July 19, 2025

Two days ago, the Hellenic Republic received an ultimatum from the government of Poland demanding the surrender of three of our core regions — Kavala, Salonica, and Ioannina.

In response, a public referendum was held, and the Greek people answered with one voice:
100% rejection of this outrageous proposal.

This act of intimidation is not only unacceptable but stands against every principle of fair play, respect, and cooperation that this game community should uphold. We will not tolerate any acts of aggression aimed at erasing smaller communities like ours in the name of “expansion” or “business.”

Let it be clear: Attacking smaller nations with uneven power is neither a sign of greatness nor of respect. It is the behavior of those who fear fair competition and seek hollow victories at the expense of diversity and the spirit of this world.

The Greek people stand united, and we call upon all nations — large and small — to remember that the true strength of this community lies in its variety of voices and cultures. Wiping out smaller communities does not make the game stronger; it makes it unplayable and soulless.

We strongly condemn these threats and urge the Polish leadership to reconsider their stance before it leads to irreversible consequences — not just for Greece, but for the integrity of this game as a whole.

Greece will not bow. Greece will not surrender.
Our regions, our culture, and our voice are not for sale.
