The Mask of Benevolence: A Response to the Lies and Hypocrisy of the US
This article is born from the need to establish the truth before the community. Recently, Sosa published a text loaded with fallacies and half-truths with the sole purpose of manipulating the narrative in his favor.
The Lie of a "Stagnant Mexico"
In his article, Sosa attempts to position the United States as a benevolent tutor who "allowed" us to start with our capital, claiming we haven't grown enough to deserve our territory. This is an assertion only someone who deliberately ignores reality can make.
Let’s talk about the inheritance we received: when we started this project, Mexico was a desert. The currency was in ruins at a value of 80 MXN to 1 Gold and we didn't have gold. The labor market was dead because there wasn't a single factory to work in, and the internal market was non-existent—no products to buy, and no one with the capacity to buy them. The player base was a mere 3 or 4 active citizens.
Now, let’s talk about our reality today: through pure effort and self-management, we have raised this nation from the ashes.
- We achieved financial stability by stabilizing the currency and creating real economic flow.
- We made a massive investment of over 2,300 Gold in factories to encourage the creation of NPCs on Mexican soil, building the infrastructure that the US never provided.
- We created an active labor market where new players have a livelihood.
Regarding community growth: Sosa claims we haven't grown, but our active player base has doubled (from 3–4 to 6–8). While that number may seem small to a superpower, for a nation that started from zero, it is a 100% growth rate.
To say we haven't grown is a blatant lie. We have grown in every aspect possible for a nation that came from absolute misery. When Sosa says they "promised land if we grew," he only confirms what we already know: they are empty promises. It doesn't matter how much we grow or invest; the US has no real interest in returning national territory, only in giving excuses to maintain their occupation.
The "Straw Man" and the Hypocrisy of the American Commonwealth
In an attempt to discredit us, Sosa calls it "stupid" for us to compare ourselves to Colombia. But there is a deliberate distortion here: we never compared our performance to Colombia’s; we pointed out the betrayal by the United States.
Sosa proudly mentions that Colombia was an ally for over 300 days but omits the end of the story. Colombia, the US, and Mexico were all part of the American Commonwealth. Colombia more than fulfilled its duties: it was a loyal, peaceful, and productive ally. What was the US's payment for that loyalty? When France attacked the Colombian nation, the US not only failed to defend them but took advantage of their "ally’s" vulnerability to annex them. If that is how they treat a 300-day ally who "worked better," what can we expect?
Philippines vs. Mexico: Double Standards and False Negotiation
Sosa attempts to justify his stance by comparing us to the Philippines and Japan, claiming the Philippines showed "interest in the game" and "will to negotiate." This is perhaps the most cynical lie in his article.
The reality of our will to negotiate is very different. For the past two months, we maintained an absolutely cordial and diplomatic stance, viewing the US as an ally. We were the ones actively seeking negotiations for the return of national territory. Sosa’s response? A wall of "no," "not now," or "maybe in the future." There was never a real proposal. We were never told: "Mexico will receive this region if it reaches X players." The only one who systematically refused to negotiate was Sosa himself. If we are fighting for our rights through revolts today, it is because the diplomatic path was sabotaged by the lack of US will.
The Threat of the "Wipe" and the Final Hypocrisy
Sosa closes his article with a supposed show of clemency: "The United States will not wipe Mexico for this." However, while he writes these words to look good before public opinion, rumors are already circulating that they plan to disappear us if we do not stop our resistance.
We know what we are up against. We are fully aware that we lack the massive player base or the military power to match a superpower like the US. If Mexico is annexed tomorrow and disappears from the map, we will accept it. It is the nature of this game: the strong prey on the weak.
The purpose of this article is not to ask for help or play the victim. The purpose is that when the history of this conflict is read, the lie that the United States is the "good guy" and Mexico is the "villain" is not believed. If we cease to exist, let it serve as a precedent for all nations on the server regarding the level of manipulation exerted by the US government. They did it to their own citizens in the Democratic Union party, they did it to Chile, they did it to Colombia, and now they are trying to do it to us.
Final Note: Due to the length of this article, I will release a second part detailing the reasons for our independence, including private messages (if Sosa consents) to prove the veracity of our claims.
