My fellow citizens and friends,
The past months have been among the most difficult in our nation’s history. We have endured not only the loss of vital activity but also the near-total destruction of our homeland during yet another world war a war we ultimately won, thanks to the unwavering support of our alliance.
From this war, we must draw important lessons. The French people stood with courage and determination, never hesitating to sacrifice everything for the greater good of our allies. We are a proud and resilient nation, one that refuses to bow down. Our military strength has been tested and proven. Though we may not be vast in numbers, we have shown ourselves to be formidable fighters. This experience has also been a personal journey for me as your President I emerge from it stronger, wiser, and better prepared for the challenges ahead.
Before I conclude, I wish to extend a special word to our allies, our friends, and our former partners in WET. Together, we have accomplished great things. You have helped me grow not only as a President but also as a man. For this, I will be forever grateful, for you have given France a renewed voice on the world stage.
And to our Italian brothers and sisters, whom we supported in your fight for independence: know that you are not alone. The world can be harsh and uncertain, but you have earned your place, just as France once did. Build your nation, find your place in the global order, and never doubt your ability to achieve greatness.
