In a scenario marked by war, change of government and economic challenges, the MRN is presented as a national alternative with a view to production, employment and economic sovereignty. Its president, FOREBOXD, raised the need to build a new political stage for Argentina.

The Argentine policy of Ecclesiar goes through a period of transformation. After the victory of the Liberal Party, the exiting of power from New Argentina and the consequences of a war that altered the international scene, a new stage opens up in which the economy and political representation reoccupy a central place.

In that context, the National Reconstruction Movement (NRM) seeks to install a proposal of its own. With a nationalist orientation and a declared defense of the Argentine industry, the party maintains that the country's recovery must be based on productive capacity, the use of national resources and an economy that offers opportunities for development.

The MRN is still a small organization against the main political forces. However, its appearance raises a relevant question: can an alternative emerge capable of overcoming the polarization between libertarian officialism and the political space that the government lost?

Public record of the MRN

To learn about its objectives, we present an interview with FOREBOXD, president of the MRN.

Interview with FOREBOXD: "Argentina needs to rebuild its capacity to produce"

Question: The MRN appears in a scenario dominated by two forces with many more members. Why should a new political organization be of interest to citizens?

FOREBOXD: Because we believe that Argentina needs to discuss something more than who occupies the government. We need to discuss which country we want to build, how to generate work and how to use our resources. We do not intend to deny what other forces did, but to put forward a proposal of our own and submit it to public debate.

Question: The Liberal Party won the elections and reduced taxes. What position does the MRN have in relation to that policy?

FOREBOXD: We do not believe that an economic policy should be judged only by a slogan. Reducing taxes can be a tool, but we must observe its results. If there are job offers and no workers appear, we need to investigate what is happening. There may be different causes and it would be irresponsible to provide an explanation without sufficient data.

Our objective is for the economy to generate real activity, for companies to produce and for people to be able to occupy these jobs. We want to discuss how to achieve that balance.

Question: What does it mean, in concrete terms, to defend domestic industry?

FOREBOXD: It means thinking about the economy from our capabilities. Argentina needs to identify which activities it can produce in a competitive manner, which resources it can transform and which sectors have the potential to grow. It is not a question of protecting everything indiscriminately, but of developing productive capacities that can be sustained over time.

Question: The war and the agreement with Brazil and the United States profoundly changed the political scene. What does the MRN propose in matters of sovereignty?

FOREBOXD: Sovereignty is also built with responsible economic capacity, institutions and decisions. We need international relations to allow trade and cooperation, but without giving up the possibility of defining our own national objectives. Foreign policy must serve Argentine development.

Question: Does the MRN seek to capture the former voters of New Argentina?

FOREBOXD: We want to talk to all Argentines who share our proposals, regardless of their party history. We are not interested in building a project based solely on rejection of another space. If we want to rebuild the country, we must offer a concrete alternative and demonstrate that we can work responsibly.

Question: The next legislative elections are near. What is the objective of the MRN?

FOREBOXD: We want our ideas to be represented and to be able to participate in national decisions. For that we need organization, committed candidates and a clear proposal. Parliamentary representation should not be an end in itself, but a tool for transforming ideas into concrete initiatives.

Question: What would I say to anyone who believes that a small party has no real chance of influencing politics?

FOREBOXD: That the initial size of an organization does not by itself determine what it can build. But it's not enough to have good intentions either. We have to work, listen, make proposals and demonstrate results. Trust is won by facts.

A proposal to demonstrate its scope

The challenge of the MRN will be to turn its political identity into an organization capable of competing on an electoral basis. The defence of national production, economic sovereignty and employment provided a starting point, but the party should translate those principles into concrete and evaluable measures.

With the forthcoming legislative elections, his first test will be to show that there is room for an alternative that does not merely prolong the confrontation between officialism and opposition.

The MRN seeks to open that discussion. Their growth will depend on the ability to transform their discourse into organization, representation and proposals that respond to the real problems of Argentina.
