OFFICIAL COMMUNITY: SYCURAL SEA OPERATION – DECLARATION OF NAVAL EMERGENCE STATE AND APPLE TO NATIONAL FURNITURE

ROMA, 5 September 2026 – The Government of the Republic informs the citizen that, in the early hours of today's morning, a hostile pirate ship has violated threat of strategic commercial routes and nation security. The state's naval forces have already intercepted the boat and initiated a massive counter-offensive to neutralize the threat.

Given the extraordinary gravity of the event and the need for a rapid and overwhelming response, the Council of Ministers has deliberated the State of Naval Emergency. To support the operations of our contingent, the Government appeals to all citizens: the defence of the country today requires everyone's contribution.

All citizens in possession of suitable boats, nautical skills or logistic and strategic support skills are invited to actively collaborate in the operation of landing and containment. At the main ports and controls of captains are already active the centers of coordination of the volunteers for the framing in the auxiliary support teams.

The operational details and collection points for voluntary civil staff will be updated constantly on the institutional channels of the Ministry.
