After our first guide, we already know more or less what to do when we start in Ecclesiar.

We know that we have to work, train, complete our missions and begin to know the world around us.

But sooner or later, there's an inevitable question:

- And now what do I do with my money?

Ecclesiar's economy can be quite confusing at first. We have gold, national currency, wages, taxes, markets, companies, food and different ways to spend or get resources.

So, in this second guide to The Daily MateLet's try to understand the most important thing. without getting too complicated.

--------------------- --------------------------------------------------

- 1. Gold and coin: not the same

This is probably one of the first concepts to be learned.

In Ecclesiar there are two key economic resources:

- Gold

Gold is a particularly important resource for progress.

It is used for different activities, including creating companies, performing certain commercial operations and other functions of the game. It can also be obtained through various activities such as daily missions, Battle Pass, mining, trade and tournaments.

- National currency

Your country's currency is the money you're mainly gonna get by working.

It is the currency you will normally use to make purchases and participate in markets.

In short:

"Gold = strategic resource.

* Currency = money for your daily activity.

Therefore, it is not appropriate to look at gold simply as "other kind of money."

--------------------- --------------------------------------------------

- 2. Work: from here your economy begins

When you get to a country, you start out of work.

To get one you have to enter the Labour marketwhere you will find the different offers available.

Each offer can show:

- Company.

Gross salary.

- Net salary.

- Economic level requirement, if applicable.

And here's something important:

What is the difference between gross and net wages?

The gross salary is the original value of the offer.

The Net salary is what you are really going to receive after applying the corresponding labour tax.

For example, if a company offers:

Gross salary: 25

▪ Net salary: 20

It doesn't mean the company's cheating on you.

The difference corresponds to the labour tax established in the country.

--------------------- --------------------------------------------------

- 3. Work once a day

There is a simple rule that any new player should remember:

- Don't forget to work every day.

You can work now. once a day, and the counter restarts at midnight according to the server's schedule.

In addition to giving you money, working increases your economic ability.

For this reason, working does not only serve to earn your current salary; it is also part of the development of your character.

--------------------- --------------------------------------------------

- 4. The market: where your money starts to move

The market is one of the most visited places.

Within Markets there are different options:

- General market.

- Monetary market.

• Labour market.

- stock market.

- Auctions.

- The business market.

- Grand Bazaar.

Not everyone works the same way.

For a new player, the two that are of the most interest to us initially are:

- General market

Here you can buy and sell products like:

- Food.

- weapons.

- Ticks.

- Raw materials.

They are products related to what the game companies produce.

- Monetary market

This market serves exchange national currency for gold and vice versa.

For example, you can find an offer where:

= 1 gold = 100 units of a coin.

The rate will depend on available offers.

- The Mate Council

Don't be in a hurry to buy gold or change your entire coin.

During your first days, watching the market can teach you a lot.

The guide of the first days itself recommends looking at the money market and observing prices before they start to operate seriously.

--------------------- --------------------------------------------------

- 5. Don't spend all your salary.

This is probably one of the most important tips of this guide.

When you start making money, it can be tempting to immediately buy better food, weapons or any object that appears.

But...

♪ Not all you can buy means you need to buy it.

The official guide for beginners recommends not to waste the salary on high-quality food or weapons during the first few days and save for more important goals.

This doesn't mean you have to live in bread and water. Ο

It means that before you buy something you ask yourself:

Do I really need it now?

--------------------- --------------------------------------------------

♪ 6. Food and energy: spending with head

Food has a direct relationship to our energy.

At present, Q1 to Q5 meals recover respectively:

Q1 → 10 energy

Q2 → 20 energy

Q3 → 30 energy

Q4 → 40 energy

Q5 → 50 energy

In addition, the food limit is recovered over time.

So, if you only lack a few energy points, it may not make sense to spend a meal that would recover much more.

- Simple rule:

I ate when you really need energy, not just because you have food.

It seems silly, but learning to manage small resources ends up making a difference.

--------------------- --------------------------------------------------

- 7. What if I want to set up a company?

Here begins the most interesting part of the economy.

Players can create companies to produce raw materials or finished products.

There are currently companies related, inter alia, to:

- food

- iron

United Nations

United Kingdom

Oil

titanium

Companies have different levels of quality.

For example:

Ο Q1 → 10 gold

Ο Q2 → 20 gold

- - - -

- - -

- - -

But...

♪ Don't run to buy a company!

If you're new, you're probably still trying to understand the market.

A company can become a good investment, but first you need to understand what it produces, what resources it needs, and where you're going to sell what it produces.

The beginners' guide itself recommends saving for a first Q1 company and preferably starting with raw materials or certain basic resources.

--------------------- --------------------------------------------------

- 8. Before spending, ask yourself these three questions

Every time you're about to spend a lot of money, ask yourself:

1 Do I need it?

If the answer is no, maybe I can wait.

2 Can you help me make progress?

May I work better?

Can you help me fight?

May I produce?

Do you generate income?

3 Am I spending a resource I'm gonna need later?

The latter is especially important with gold.

The official wiki even sums up the economic philosophy for new players in a pretty clear way:

Save gold for strategic improvements and not spend it impulsively.

--------------------- --------------------------------------------------

- 9. Taxes also affect your pocket

One thing that can happen unnoticed at first is that economic decisions of a country directly affect its citizens.

The various measures include:

- Tax on work.

- VAT.

- Import tax.

- Minimum wage.

For example, the labour tax influences the difference between your gross and net salary.

VAT applies to products entering the market, while the import tax affects those who trade from another country.

And here we start to understand why the economy and the policy of Ecclesiar are so related.

Members of Congress can intervene on different economic issues through proposals and laws.

--------------------- --------------------------------------------------

♪ 10. So... politics affects my money?

Yeah.

And this is something that we are probably going to deepen in a future guide.

Government decisions may change issues such as taxes, minimum wages and other economic conditions.

So, even if you're a player who just wants to work and make money, It is worth paying attention to what is happening politically in your country.

You don't need to become a politician.

But it is appropriate to know what decisions may affect your pocket.

--------------------- --------------------------------------------------

- A simple strategy for a new player

If you've been playing for a few days, I'd follow a pretty simple strategy:

- 1. She works every day.

Your salary is your main initial source of currency and also increases your economic ability.

♪ 2. Training every day.

It's another of the fundamental routines of the game.

- 3. Complete the missions.

In addition to prestige and Battle Pass, daily missions give gold.

- 4. Watch the market.

You don't need to become a trader immediately.

- 5. It'll save gold.

Especially during the first few days.

- 6. Just buy what you need.

You don't need to have the most expensive products to start with.

- 7. I learned before I invested.

A bad buy can show you something, but good research can keep you from losing resources.

--------------------- --------------------------------------------------

- To conclude: money is not the target

After a few days in Ecclesiar, you start to realize that money is not just a number that appears on the screen.

It's a tool.

With it you can feed, trade, prepare to fight, participate in the economy and, over time, build your own projects.

But Having more money doesn't necessarily mean making better progress.

The important thing is to learn how to use it.

And maybe that's the real goal of this second guide:

It's not about spending any more. It's about better understanding what to spend on.

Because we're still new to Ecclesiar.

We're still learning.

And as we continue to discover this world...

- We raised another mate and went on.
