King Petar Krešimir ( 1058. - 1074. )



Hello dear readers! This part of eCroatian history brings us to the end of liberation war. Croatia has accomplished goals to be independent country and to keep sovergnity over it's core regions. Since last part we saw Croatia easily gaining initiative in war and war was being fought mostly in Slovenian regions.

When Croatian forces lost in battle for liberating Pula, Slovenia gained initiative and started new offensive on Croatian regions. Slovenians started invasion on Zadar as it seemed that Croatians are demotivated by recent loss in Pula battle. The Croatians were not discouraged by the defeat in battle for Pula and while Slovenians were focused on their attack on Zadar Croat saboteurs started another resistance in Pula.  


Croatian military command once again made a brave decision to let them conquer Zadar and fight in Pula. Battle of Pula ( 18.01.2025. ) but because of leaderships decision to drop Zadar we still didn't had all our core regions liberated as Slovenians at the end conquered Zadar by decision of military command. They entered trap set up by logistical department of our government and they lost what they defended the most their soldiers became demotivated and tired. 


Croatia knew it is time for decisive counter offensive to finally get all core regions back in our hands. Saboteurs once again started resistance which proved to be successful as we Liberated Zadar ( 20.01.2025. ) and easily pushed Slovenian attack on our capital Zagreb. As Croats met their goal some diplomatic talks were held but without peaceful solution. Croats once again started counter offensive on Slovenian regions and day after day Slovenian cities were falling under our control - Novo Mesto, Maribor, Murska Sobota. As our forces previously shattered infrastructure in these regions it was easy to conquer them. After aquiring those targets we attacked Venice which is Italian region under Slovenian control and won. After that we pecefully relesed region to Italy. We can say final blow in war was when their forces tried by starting resistance during end of our invasion in Venice. Military command decided to seize opportunity to come closer to closing this war and sent all our soldiers to defend Maribor, and instead of going to destroy their final infrastructure once again attacked Novo Mesto which wasn't defended as it had no infrastructure left. When we won Maribor resistance and with great progress in battle of Novo Mesto Slovenia was one step from getting wiped with 2 regions left. That is moment their government acknowledge their defeat and signed Non Aggression Pact with Croatia and allies. That meant that finally they admited Croatian independency and sovergnity ( 28.01.2025. ). So after a little over a month ( 27.12.2024. - 28.01.2025 ) war has ended and Croatia got freedom!

Also I want to thank Slovenia as you guys fought brave and for a long time, it was a honor. Our special thanks are going to Poland and Romania which were helping us as we are one of them.
