After food, the next important expense for a new player is weapons. They are needed to fight efficiently and complete missions, so the relationship between local wages and weapon prices can have a major impact on how quickly a new citizen can progress.

For this analysis, I used the same PPP method as in the food article: NPC wages and the lowest available weapon prices are expressed in gold, purchasing power is calculated for Q1–Q5, and each quality is normalized against the global median before being combined into one Weapon PPP Index.

Top 5 countries for Weapon PPP

Among countries with active weapon offers across all five qualities, the strongest purchasing power is:

  1. 🥇 North Macedonia — 316.3

  2. 🥈 Croatia — 295.9

  3. 🥉 Poland — 269.1

  4. Brazil — 188.2

  5. Sweden — 172.5

This time, North Macedonia takes first place. Its combination of the world's highest NPC wage and competitive weapon prices gives its citizens exceptional purchasing power. Croatia follows closely, while Poland's extremely cheap weapons compensate for its lower nominal wage.

Saudi Arabia position?

Saudi Arabia performs very differently from our previous food analysis.

With an NPC wage of 2.474 gold, Saudi Arabia has the third-highest wage in the dataset. One Saudi wage can buy approximately 68.9 Q1, 36.2 Q2, 23.9 Q3, 15.9 Q4 or 15.7 Q5 weapons.

Its overall Weapon PPP Index is 81.7, placing Saudi Arabia 13th out of the 17 countries with complete Q1–Q5 data.

So while Saudi wages are among the highest in the world, weapon prices are also relatively high. Saudi Arabia therefore loses much of the advantage created by its strong wage. This is a good example of why nominal salary alone does not tell us how wealthy a new player actually is.
