I have to face the observation that the library of the game supposed to list the history of the country omits the context of events. But without having studied history, I know that the context is essential; even more when the game has evolved a lot in 2 years. Point of university or ideology at the beginning of the game; different war mechanics; Some powers and great players are no longer with us. For some time now, the game, and more particularly eFrance, has seen a significant flow of new players. Although the latter learn quickly and well the mechanics of the game, they cannot fully appreciate the rich history of the country. How can we hope to have good diplomats if they do not know the past?

It is for these reasons that I am going to publish a series of articles on the history of the country, the first of which is here. I'm one of the "old old lady" of the year 2024. Only our presidents TikazZ and Majestic Doggo, as well as melankholie (and Benoît?), have played for as long while being active during these 2 years. Of course, other players who joined at the end of 2024/beginning 2025 still play (like Desmoulins). I have had the opportunity since my birth to exercise various positions allowing me to have a correct understanding of the events of the country. I would like to point out that mistakes can be made for the oldest events, even more aware that I did not join a government until February 2025. I would also like to point out that for the global events of Eclesiar (such as world wars), I would only express my point of view, and as far as possible that of the country. I would therefore not speak of quarrels, accusations of cheating or other low blows between foreign countries; France does not soak in this.

Chapter 1: Birth of the country, between uncertainties, world war and bravery


This chapter contains the history of the country from its birth to the end of the Second World War; either of 1 September 2024 (1st Presidency of Tikazz) 1 February 2025 (1st presidency of Majestic Doggo - 5th presidential election).


The world of Eclesiar officially opened in September 2024. Rare was then the French on the game, Tikazz, Bobi Coarach, Ephy, Lux, and a few others. Even if I only joined the game two months later, of what I understood, the country was quickly occupied by Lithuania, then at the top of its power. He was then released by the United States during the First World War, led by a certain Petros; player who made a lot of ink at the time. This is the world in which the first real wave of FR players came from the RR game (of which I am a part). The country was then in a geopolitically critical situation. We were under the protection of the covenant G3 (EU, Northern Macedonia and Slovenia) facing the expansionist ideas of our German and Swedish neighbours. Shortly thereafter, during Bobi Coarach's first presidency in November, the Second World War began. Two coalitions, each composed of two alliances, were opposed and France was on the front line in the fighting because of its geographical position. Our allies left one by one war or were conquered. Without the valuable help of the Americans, Portuguese and others whose communities left the ship, the country's future seemed uncertain.

Paris, after several seats, fell on 11 January 2025, more than a month after the beginning of the longest war the game has experienced.

Fortunately, we had a charismatic president, good diplomats and a good journalist (LeTunisien) who was able to plead the country's cause. While the country was in the camp of the vanquished and was entirely occupied (at times), the country left without loss of region from its baptism of fire. France grew up. By his will not to sign a separate peace and by the will to fight with his young community, some international actors had the hope of a powerful future country (spoiler: we have not become a military power since).

The signing of the peace treaty ended Lux's presidency and redistributed geopolitical maps. Of the four major pre-war alliances, the two defeated had been destroyed and one of the winners had quickly dissolved after the war. From this dissolution came a major alliance of the game in 2025, the WET, which France had to be part of. At the same time, the country began its reconstruction after the most destructive war the country has experienced ever since.

The next chapter will cover history from February to early November 2025 and will include Majestic Doggo's first 10 terms, World War 4 and colonial conquests.
