Dear citizens,

We are pleased to announce that today we have reached an agreement on further cooperation with another neighboring state, Slovenia.

The points of the new Slovenian-Hungarian agreement:

Mutual defense agreement between the two countries

- The defense pact enters into force today (193th day) and will last for 60 days (253th day). During this period, both parties guarantee to support and defend each other against any external aggression or threat, if they are directed against the original territories of the undersigned parties. The agreement is based on mutual trust and cooperation and can be renegotiated upon its expiration.

NAP (Non-aggression agreement)

- The parties sign a non-aggression agreement for 60 days (193-253) in order to guarantee peace. Upon expiry of the agreement, it may be extended by mutual consent of both parties without an expiry date.

The aim of the agreement is to guarantee peace in our region and to maintain good neighbourly relations.
