The Chinese have started to invade the Philippines this Thursday, October 3, with an initial thrust of two divisions followed by reinforcements from five divisions, for a total of seven divisions.

Filipino forces have struggled to keep up due to the relentless attacks by the Chinese. Despite their best efforts, they have suffered huge casualties during their defense of Baguio City, a mountain city in the Philippines.

"We are holding on despite everything," said the field commander of the Philippine Armed Forces on site, who refused to be identified.

The Philippines is now asking for international help to remedy the dire situation.
