Interview With Martial_Ant - Talks Around The Globe: Day 373

Hello and welcome to the first episode of "Talks Around The Globe." This is your host, Hazyouthere with our guest of the evening, Martial_ant. Its a pleasure and honor to have the chance to talk to you today. Is there anything you would like to mention or shout-out before we dive into our interview?

Martial_Ant:

Yes, i would like to use my opening statement to let you all know im selling black Opel Insignia, produced in 2013, 225.000 km, 96 KW, manual gearbox, no further investment needed.

Hazyouthere:

You heard it here first, folks. A very nice car to say the least. I'm sure that the future owner will get many calls regarding their Extended Car Warranty. 

So, to get us started off here on our first topic. I recently read your newest article named "Time For A New Chapter" and was wondering what lead to this ultimate decision?

Martial_Ant: 

I started eclesiar journey in January and in the same month I got into the government of Croatia as minister of finance. By march i vas vCP and thats when I started with diplomacy. The only break from it was during june while i was in the USA. Feeling exhausted from it is the main reason, while another reason is that some fresh guys dont have the same personal relationships with some others leaders like I do so maybe they will do some things differently.

Hazyouthere: 

Do you think that these "fresh guys" have more or less relationship status with other leaders? And do you think that this new wave of potential leaders within Croatia have a better chance of creating positive diplomacy globally than you?

Martial_Ant: 

Well they probably know less people, but that's not always a bad thing. It depends how new government will be formed, im still not sure who will run for CP and how he will set up his team so there still time for that. Only "bad" thing in Croatia is that not many players have desire to run a country since that is pretty time consuming and sort of stressful if you find yourself in war while you are in charge.

Hazyouthere: 

Do you fear that a possible incident such as Manga would take effect again or a PTO (Political Take Over) in general?

And if so, would you or someone within your staff be willing to make another attempt of saving Croatia?

Martial_Ant: 

We have enough players and if someone manages to PTO us then we deserved it.

Someone who asks my help will always get it if he doesn't have bad intentions

Hazyouthere: 

Thats completely reasonable. I only ask because after all the work you put into making Croatia into its current standing was turned upside down in 1 day with the Manga incident previously. Which afterall is why we all moved to USA for that period of time.

Would you like to dive into that time period for our next topic? Giving the rundown of what led up to the move to US?

My understanding was that Croatia was being taken advantage of and not allowed to progress due to the Bulargia leaving incident.

Martial_Ant: 

Progress was halted because we were hostages of one man. Bulgaria leaving actually had no impact on us but leaving allies (Poland in that case) without our support after they helped us and privatisation of country assets were just wrong. Also, after april quarells between two biggest parties in Croatia we made a deal that every month one party will give CP and it was El Scorpion turn to lead when Manga rigged elections with his army of multies and won. That was last nail in the coffin because i think this game have no sense if only one guy enjoys playing it while rest of community just acts like NPCs

Hazyouthere: 

I agree. That one man being Manga. During that time there was betrayal and backstabbing apon Croatia if I'm correct. Who/what brought that about? I was under the assumption that there was conflict of Croatia trying to expand but were ultimately shut down and beat out of the areas.

Martial_Ant: 

Whole that era was one big betrayal. His ruling was Machiavellistic and he didn't mind about others while trying to accomplish his goals. That's why we tried to reverse that politics and restore trust in Croatia. We managed to return both Ireland and Greek regions in the last mandate even though we could bully those countries and hold them. We also joined war but didn't break any nap (we had open training war with slovenia in moment we joined last conflict and we could just attack their core but that was something Manga would do and it just wasn't right and fair) and tried to conduct it without bullying anyone (even with beef against BIH we decided that taking 3/6 their regions is enough)

Someone will still consider that our late joining in the last war was unjust, but our goal was accomplished (alliance reset) and we hope that we made the right decision.

Hazyouthere: 

I think in the greater scheme of things the initial claim of neutral standing within Croatia showed that not only were you not willing to be a bully, but weren't about to let others bully you either. Ultimately picking a side in the end was inevitable if the most recent NAP wasn't signed to (reset). Now that there is a reset in effect, is that the reason you feel like its time to give others a chance to run Croatia?

Martial_Ant: 

That's right. If we are resetting alliances we could also reset leadership of our country. Im really good at handling economy so i could cover that and leave everything else to someone else.

Btw, im only thinking about removing myself. This is el scorpion first mandate so he is more than welcome to continue until he doesn't get tired what is inevitable.

Hazyouthere: 

My final question on this topic is... So will El Scorpion continue to be President or will he take Vice President and allow someone new to lead? Or what is the plan on future elections in general?

Martial_Ant: 

We didn't decide yet. Every Congress election we just go with multi party system and after them we make final decision where we decide who will get support as CP

Hazyouthere: 

To bring us into our final topic, I'd like to focus on what you plan to do in this new chapter?

Martial_Ant: 

First goal would be full Q4 set, secondary i will devote more time to run MU holding companies so our MU can grow too. If i will have spare time, i will try to reach out and bring some new players also, but i wont promise anything for now because it's not that easy.

Hazyouthere: 

I understand, best of luck with that. Are you still going to take part in Congress and inner workings of Government in general or are you going to fully focus on MU priorities and self growth?

Martial_Ant: 

Congress is fine, I'll vote whatever they need me to. From government only finances and economy.

Hazyouthere: 

Yea, being a congressman is the easiest part. Just voting where its needed. So are you going to be holding any positions within Ministry, such as Ministry of Economy? Since you're going for the Financial and Economy fields.

Martial_Ant: 

Up to new CP.

Hazyouthere: 

Of course. I'm just asking if thats something you would want to do or if you would prefer new faces in Ministry aswell.

Martial_Ant: 

Maybe one or two changes would be good, it's also bad to change complete government as well.

Hazyouthere: 

I agree. Is there any specific road you would like to see Croatia as a whole go down for the future ahead, even if you are not directly running it?

Martial_Ant: 

Economy is excellent and new government should continue same path. I would like to see Croatia a part of some smaller and stable alliance for the first time. Croatia should also invest some efforts into strengthening their players for battle because few tanks are okay, but it would be easier with bigger base of fighters.

Hazyouthere: 

You're still going to be running the MU, correct? Or just the Holdings? Will you be assisting in the strengthening of the players or just stockpiling resources for future conflicts?

Martial_Ant: 

We will stockpile at start but we will try to equip some of our guys until nap ends.

Hazyouthere: 

Do you have any predictions on what will happen after NAP ends? Personally I think they will attempt to extend the current NAP, but if that doesnt happen we can possibly see a surge in upcoming alliances across the globe.

Martial_Ant: 

Either this nap will be extended or we gonna have war between some members of anti-epic coalition in the last war.

Hazyouthere: 

Yea for sure. I'm sure there is still some sour perspectives from the recent "World War 4" that can't wait to be let loose. If you had any recommendations for Croatia or even the globe in general, what would your message be going forward in this Reset?

Martial_Ant: 

4-5 smaller alliances made to achieve some goals, not made to destroy other side.

Hazyouthere: 

I hope everyone can take that message to heart and learn to find peace and hold each other accountable while maintaining respect for one another. I know this is a war game, but world domination isn't what everyone always wants. What is your perspective on the overall scheme? Do you want the game to eventually come to an end, or do you prefer co-op for a long play experience?

Martial_Ant: 

I just prefer it continues indefinitely, but it should have some end phase so later newer guys can catch up.

Hazyouthere: 

I agree. I just think that when it comes to end of times, the leaders create another NAP to reset and prolong the ending to salvage the remnants of World Wars.

Would you like to mention anything about the recent APP?

Martial_Ant: 

It's an old idea that this relationship restart enabled to happen now. I hope we will see more regional alliances oriented to secure their region rather than alliances made to dominate the world.

Hazyouthere: 

Agreed. Is there any further comments youd like to make before we come to a close of the interview.

Martial_Ant: 

Nah that's it. Now im waiting will me CP hear my plea and appoint someone else for diplomacy or ignore it lol.
