You just got to Ecclesiar and don't understand what to do?

Easy. It happened to me, too.

Ecclesiar may seem simple when you first come in, but after you start going through your menus there are jobs, training, energy, food, market, companies, politics, wars, missions and many other options that can be quite difficult to understand, especially if you never played such a game.

This is why this first guide of El Mate Diario is born.

And there's something important: I'm new too. At the time of writing this guide, my character has only been in the game for three days and is in level 8. So this is not intended to be a guide written by a veteran player who knows absolutely everything, but a small help for those who are taking their first steps, learning at the same time as us.

The idea is simple: if something cost us to understand, we will try to explain it in the simplest way possible so that the next player will find it a little easier.

--------------------- --------------------------------------------------

- 1. First, what is Ecclesiar?

Ecclesiar is a multi-player strategy game in which players participate in a persistent world.

There is no single way to play.

You can work and develop economically, participate in the market, create companies, engage in politics, train and combat, be part of organizations and participate in the events of your country.

In other words, it's not just about raising level: your character is part of a world built by the players themselves.

And that's exactly what can be complicated at first.

--------------------- --------------------------------------------------

- 2. The first thing you have to understand: your energy

One of the first things you're gonna find is energy.

Energy is a fundamental resource because it is used to perform different activities: training, working, fighting, travel and building, among others.

The energy is automatically recovered over time: it is now regenerated 1 point every 2 minutes.

There is also food, which can be used to recover energy. Meals have different qualities: a Q1 meal recovers 10 energy points, Q2 recovers 20, and so on until Q5, which recovers 50.

However, the amount of food you can eat is limited by your food limit, which is gradually recovered.

- Council of Beginner

Don't spend food without need.

Before you consume it, see how much energy you're missing and how much you're gonna get back. At first it may seem a small detail, but learning to manage resources is an important part of the game.

--------------------- --------------------------------------------------

- 3. Work: your first source of income

When you start at Ecclesiar, one of the first things you should do is get a job.

To find him you can enter:

Market → Labour market

You can also access from the options related to your workplace.

The offers show the company, the gross wage and the net wage. The net salary is the money you will actually receive after the corresponding taxes.

In addition, working increases your economic ability.

There's something very important to remember:

You can only work once a day.

The counter starts at midnight according to the server's schedule.

That's why, especially during your first few days, don't forget to work.

It may seem like a small action, but it's part of your economic progress.

--------------------- --------------------------------------------------

Ο 4. Training is also part of your routine

Another activity that should be turned into a habit is training.

Training allows you to develop your capabilities and increase your strength for combat-related activities.

Like work, training can be done once a day.

So a good custom for any new player is:

"Â Work

▪ Training

Reviewing missions

Reviewing your resources

"Look what's going on in your country"

The official guide of first days itself recommends not to forget about daily training and work.

--------------------- --------------------------------------------------

- 5. Daily missions

Missions are generated every day for players.

At present, 8 missions are generated daily and completed, providing points of prestige to advance the Battle Pass.

In addition, the completion of the eight missions provides 3.2 gold at a rate of 0.4 per mission.

For a new player, this is especially important because gold is a resource you will need for different activities.

That's why:

Do not ignore daily missions.

Although some mission seems unimportant, getting used to it every day can help you progress.

--------------------- --------------------------------------------------

- 6. Gold and money: not the same

This is one of those details that can be very confusing at first.

Ecclesiar uses gold and also a national currency.

Gold is used for different important actions, such as building companies, proposing laws and carrying out certain operations.

On the other hand, the national currency is obtained, inter alia, by working and being used to trade in markets.

So, if you just start, you don't have to spend everything you have just because you can.

I first learned what every resource is for.

--------------------- --------------------------------------------------

- 7. The market: look before you buy

The market is probably one of the most confusing places for new players.

There are different types of markets and different products.

My recommendation as a new player is simple:

- First look.

You don't need to understand all the numbers on the first day.

See how much the products cost, what they sell, what they buy and how prices change.

Over time you'll start to recognize which prices are normal and which are not.

The general market allows to buy and sell products between players, and operations are conditioned by issues such as country, taxes and location.

--------------------- --------------------------------------------------

- 8. What about the companies?

Here begins one of the most interesting parts of Ecclesiar.

Players can create companies and participate in the production and marketing of resources.

The official guide for beginners recommends saving gold to reach the first Q1 quality company, whose current cost is 10 gold.

It also recommends that new players consider starting with companies related to raw materials or basic resources before getting into more complex products.

But here's a personal recommendation:

Don't be in a hurry.

If you've only been playing one, two or three days, you're probably still learning how the economy works.

Before investing a significant amount of gold, I first understood what a company produces, how much it costs to maintain it and how the market works.

--------------------- --------------------------------------------------

Ο 9. Do I have to fight from the start?

Not necessarily.

The fight is an important part of Ecclesiar, but you don't have to become a great soldier immediately.

To fight, energy is used and the damage you do contributes to your military progress.

New players can participate in tournaments for beginners and become familiar with the combat system.

If you don't understand weapons, equipment, ranks or military units yet, don't worry.

I learned first. Then fight.

--------------------- --------------------------------------------------

- 10. There is also the policy

Another important feature of Ecclesiar is that players themselves are involved in the policy of their countries.

There are political parties, elections, congresses, laws, taxes and different political positions.

This means that politics is not simply a game decoration: it is part of the dynamics created by the players themselves.

As a new player, you can start by simply watching.

I read the papers of the game, see what parties exist, pay attention to the elections and try to understand what's going on in your country.

You don't need to be president from day one.

--------------------- --------------------------------------------------

A simple routine for your first days

If this all seems too much to you, you can start with something much simpler.

When you enter the game:

1. - Check your missions.

2. - Training.

3. Work.

4. - Check your money and gold.

5. - Check your energy and food.

6. - Look at the market.

7. I read the news of your country.

8. Look what's going on around it.

You don't have to do everything perfectly.

The important thing in the first few days is to learn how the world you have just entered works.

--------------------- --------------------------------------------------

To finish: let's learn together

If you got here hoping to find a magic formula to become one of the best Ecclesiar players in three days, I probably let you down.

But that's not the intention either.

The Daily Mate is just starting, and so am I.

This diary is born just from that experience: enter a new game, look at a screen full of options and think:

"What do I do now?"

That's why this guide doesn't mean to know everything.

It pretends to be the first step.

As we continue to learn, we will discover together how the economy, companies, the market, politics, combat and all other parts of Ecclesiar work.

Because maybe that's the best way to learn:

one by raising the mate and the other by explaining what he just discovered. -

Guide 2 - "Where's my money going? Understanding the economy of Ecclesiar"

In the next edition we are going to get full into one of the issues that most doubt generates among the new players: money, market, prices and how to begin to understand the economy of Ecclesiar.

I put in the water, barley the matt and prepare to know Ecclesiar. News, guides and game news, counted by players who are also learning. We learn together, we tell what happens.
