COMMON RESISTANCE
We Fight for the Revolution
OUR FIRST STEP
Brazil is a country marked by profound contradictions. On the one hand, a huge concentration of wealth and power; on the other, millions of workers who depend on their own work to survive. Inequality, labor exploitation, precariousness, land concentration and the influence of major economic interests are part of the Brazilian reality.
It is before this reality that the Communist Resistance.
This paper comes up with one goal: analyze the brazilian reality from Marxism-Leninism and defend the need for revolutionary transformation of society.
We do not believe that the fundamental problems of Brazil can be understood only as a result of bad individuals, corrupt politicians or isolated decisions. We will seek to analyze the economic, political and social structures that produce and reproduce these contradictions.
Our attention will be focused mainly on Brazil: its history, its economic formation, its working class, its popular movements, its social struggles and relations between the country and international capitalism.
We will also study the history of the communist movement and revolutionary experiences in different periods and countries. We will do this not to turn history into a collection of untouchable symbols, but to understand his achievements, his mistakes, his contradictions and his lessons.
O Communist Resistance does not mean to be just a space of opinion. We want to encourage political study, organization and debate among those who wish to understand society beyond its immediate appearance.
We argue that the working class should not only be a spectator of politics. For us, their organization and political awareness are fundamental elements of any process of social transformation.
So this paper will deal with politics, economy, work, history, culture, imperialism, class struggle and popular organization, always trying to relate these issues to the brazilian concrete reality.
Our name represents what we intend to build: resistance against exploitation and organization for transformation.
This is the first number.
We don't know how many pages will be written from now on. But we know what our starting point is:
understand Brazil, study its contradictions and fight for the Revolution.
Communist resistance.
We fight for the Revolution.
