October 16 may go down in the history of the young Russian Federation as the day when diplomacy managed to achieve what was not possible on the battlefield until recently. After lengthy negotiations, Russia and the Khaxian Empire announced a peace agreement providing for the transfer of Russian control to Moscow. At the same time, Russia announced its accession to the International Union of URLs (Union de Républiques Libres).

The end of confrontation is the beginning of a new era

Until recently, relations between Russia and the Khaxian Empire were defined by confrontation and struggle for territorial heritage. The two states, each of which ties its future to Russian history, find themselves on opposite sides of political boundaries.
