While we are actively developing Patch 1.1, we’ve also made significant updates over the last week. Whether you're a veteran or just joining this free online multiplayer strategy game, there’s something here for everyone!
Exciting Milestones
We’re thrilled to announce that Eclesiar has now surpassed 3,000 registered accounts, and our game is attracting around 1,000 daily visitors to the site! We’re seeing a lot of activity across the globe, with nations rising to power, alliances forming, and the competition heating up.
Battle Pass Progression Recovery
We’ve introduced a feature allowing players to purchase lost progression on the battle pass. This update is especially helpful for those who may have joined late or missed some milestones, ensuring everyone can stay competitive.
Performance Enhancements
To reduce server load and improve the overall gaming experience:
- Statistics pages now refresh once daily, except for the "today damage" stat, which updates every 6 hours.
- Pollution updates now occur every hour instead of in real-time, optimizing server performance.
Fixes and Improvements
- Holding Dividends Fix: A server-crashing issue related to unowned shares has been resolved.
- Equipment Merge Warnings: A warning now appears when attempting to merge red equipment, which cannot be merged. We've also improved error messaging for other non-mergable items.
- Contract Fee Adjustments: Fees for contracts are now better aligned with item production scales, reducing fees for high-production items like weapons.
- Fresh Account Limits: To protect the economy from multi-account abuse, fresh accounts (under level 7) are now restricted in currency market usage, contracts, and donate to Military Unit.
- Share Buying Restriction: Accounts under level 10 can no longer buy shares.
Economy & Pollution Tweaks
- Pollution Calculation: Pollution will now only update once per hour. We've also adjusted the pollution growth rate so that production quality better reflects the pollution produced. For example, producing 200 Q1 weapons will pollute similarly to producing 164 Q2 weapons.
Alliance Updates
- Scaled Ally Proposal Fees: The cost of proposing alliances now scales based on the number of active citizens in both countries.
- Reduced Alliance Duration: Alliances will now last only 15 days (down from 30), encouraging more dynamic shifts in international relations.
With these changes, we’re curious to see how the geopolitical landscape evolves. Currently, the world appears to have split into two major sides, but will we witness further fragmentation after alliance update? Time will tell!
Map and Algorithm Updates
- Map page performance has been enhanced for smoother navigation.
- We’ve implemented a new RNG algorithm, aiming for more natural and fair randomization results across the game.
