Venice has just been LIBERATED

In the name of the Government of the Republic of Italy and its citizens, I hereby inform the domestic and international public that today, at 14:10 hours, every region of our country has been liberated. Italy is once again completely free – every stone of our homeland restored under the banner of liberty.


Our success would not have been possible without the decisive and selfless support of our allies – especially our friends from France and other nations of the free world. Their assistance, solidarity, and shared struggle with us remain deeply engraved in the heart of the Italian people. Together, we stood on the ramparts of freedom, shoulder to shoulder, while the storm of war raged.

Italy remains sovereign on its own soil – unyielding, proud, and loyal to the free world.
