Fellow citizens of Japan,

I, Yumiko Kurogawa, stand before you with immense gratitude and responsibility as I step into the role of President for the current term. Our former President, Safer, who served with great integrity and resilience, has passed the torch to me. Although he steps out of the spotlight, he will forever hold a place of honor in our nation’s story. His diligence, wisdom, and calm leadership guided us through countless challenges, and for that, we owe him a tremendous debt of thanks. He will still hold a special place in Japan.

I am joined in governance by leaders who have proven their worth. At my side, as Vice President, is the esteemed Empress Lutzie. She holds Japan close to her heart, her devotion as unwavering as the samurai blades of old. You’ll find no one more passionate about our homeland’s prosperity.

Our Minister of Defense, KrstaVB, continues his steadfast service. Through quiet diligence and unwavering focus, he ensures our borders remain secure and our strategies refined. Under the guidance of Safer, he shone brightly, and I have no doubt he will continue to do so now.

The Minister of Labor, Fyr, remains our rock in ensuring that both the country’s and the citizens’ needs are balanced. He expertly keeps the market humming with life and stable trade. For the lifeblood of our economy—our goods and supplies—Fyr’s steady hand is invaluable.

Our Minister of Economy, XerTaLT, may have the demeanor of a formidable, aggressive turtle (and when was the last time you met an aggressive turtle?) but do not mistake this intensity for anything less than brilliant stewardship of our nation’s wealth. His fierce dedication ensures every coin is counted and invested wisely.

Muramasa, once Vice Minister of Defense, ascends as our new Minister of Development. Having learned the ropes under KrstaVB’s mentorship, Muramasa now takes charge of building projects, infrastructure, and future upgrades. I trust his vision to sculpt a stronger, more efficient Japan.

Additionally, Murkoff will continue as Minister of Interior, the stalwart gatekeeper of our nation’s citizenship and internal affairs. His careful screening and welcoming spirit ensure that those who join our ranks do so with the best of intentions, keeping our community cohesive and strong.

With these pillars of leadership in place, we now broaden our horizons. I am proud to announce the creation of two new ministries, born out of our shared aspirations and imagination:

Ministry of Culture: This ministry celebrates who we are—our traditions, our language, our arts, and our evolving identity. By publishing at least one article each week, it will bring alive the stories of old Japan and the cutting-edge creativity of modern times. It’s a way for both locals and foreigners to appreciate our roots and understand what makes Japan so special.

Ministry of Social Welfare: Our people are the beating heart of this nation. Through community events, outreach, and support, this ministry will ensure everyone feels included and cared for. From helping newcomers find their footing to organizing gatherings that remind us we are one family, united in purpose, this ministry stands for compassion and unity.

To bring these visions to life, we need you. Japan thrives when citizens step forward with their ideas, talents, and drive. If you feel called to serve as Minister or Vice Minister—be it in these new ministries of Culture and Social Welfare or to support any existing ministry—let me know. Introduce yourself, share your passions, and we’ll find a role that fits your strengths. I will personally guide those who wish to shape these new ministries and help them take root.

We are not limited by mechanics or old customs—only by what we can imagine. With Safer’s legacy in our hearts and with a brilliant team at my side, I trust we can continue to grow, learn, and become stronger as one people.

Come, join me. Let’s chart a future filled with creativity, compassion, prosperity, and pride for Japan.
