Between the Hellenic Republic and the Republic of Turkey

June 17, 2025 — Day 263

Following a period of constructive  negotiations and mutual understanding, the governments of Greece and Turkey have reached a historic agreement aimed at fostering regional stability, mutual respect, and peaceful coexistence in the months ahead.

Both nations hereby announce the implementation of a 90-day Non-Aggression Pact (NAP), effective immediately. This agreement shall remain in force until Day 353 (inclusive). Upon mutual communication and consent, both parties reserve the right to extend the pact should circumstances permit.

Under this agreement:

-No acts of aggression — direct or indirect — shall be initiated by either side against the other.

-Citizens and residents of both nations are strictly prohibited from aiding or supporting any foreign power engaged in hostile actions against either Greece or Turkey, including through third-party or proxy involvement.

-Any violation of this clause will be considered a breach of sovereignty and will be addressed accordingly. Any damage inflicted must be fully compensated by the responsible party.

-All territories or regions lost or won during the conflict will be returned to their pre-war status.

As part of this broader understanding, the return of Heraklion stands as a symbolic gesture of goodwill and a meaningful step toward restoring mutual trust.

While certain undisclosed terms remain confidential to safeguard strategic balance and trust, both sides reaffirm their commitment to cooperation, transparency, and the spirit of this agreement.
