Since there are many different views and opinions on the current, highly troubling political and economic situation in Italy, I am asking several experts as well as those affected for their opinion.
For part 1 of this series, “Sternenlord”, the 'German Minister of Public Relations', has agreed to give a statement:
"I think that it is not a good idea to raise the minimum wage to 20 itl, because hardly any Italian would then be able to afford having employees anymore, which is very bad for new players, and in the worst case, citizens might even leave the country because of it (this is my perspective as a player)."
Stagnation, or even Shrink — these are the prospects for Italy’s economy. As if that weren’t bad enough, his political observations and forecasts are even gloomier:
"From a political point of view, I am disappointed with how Italy is developing, since to me it now only looks like a dictatorship rather than a strong sense of unity among compatriots — especially considering that the previous president "Em" gave sweat, blood, and his own gold to rebuild and strengthen the country after the war. (This is my perspective as Minister of Public Relations)."
Whether Italy is truly on its way to becoming a dictatorship will be revealed in the upcoming elections in about two weeks. What is clear, however, is that what previous governments had built is already being undone.
Many thanks to “Sternenlord” for the statement.
