The “Treaty of Budapest” After the War


After the war, an unusual chapter unfolded in Budapest, called the “Treaty of Budapest.” 

A group of South Korean players arrived in the Hungarian capital—not for politics, but for celebration and recovery. The trip was an IRL meetup, bringing online rivals together face to face.


Even though Korea had been heavily bombed during the conflict, they showed that the true goal of the game is fun. The past was set aside as they spent time together.


Team managed to drink an impressive amount of Jägermeister and vodka.


No real treaty was signed, but great to meet some players IRL.
