One of  my favourite poets are Charles Bukowski, an american poet born 1920 and dead 1994.

His poems reflect vulnerability and daily mankind struggle to a degree that few can express but perhaps sometimes feel. This one is called "No Help For That" and is one of my absolute favourite poems by all time.

“there is a place in the heart that
will never be filled

a space

and even during the
best moments
and
the greatest times
times

we will know it

we will know it
more than
ever

there is a place in the heart that
will never be filled
and

we will wait
and
wait

in that space.”

― Charles Bukowski
