Hello all- Bronzend with another economic (and slightly political) article for you, with a new insight that I learned after gleaming into some of the different map styles to view the world / different aspects of it. One I noticed from the Economic mode was particularly important in my eyes though: Regional Specialities.

I am unsure of exactly how these bonuses were placed (IE if they are simply a game state / map feature or if they are somehow user decided by the creation of different builds) but I was happy to find one already lining up with my economic plan. I base my Farm and Food Factory, which I mentioned in my first article, in MN- so when I saw that I had accidentally placed my businesses in the optimal location I was rather pleased.

I was unsure of how many other players knew about these bonuses, and so I decided to make this article for two main reasons. One, I think its important for individuals as they frame their individual economic plans. If you wanna be a bread-baker like me, head up to MN (and say hello to me if ya do :3 )! If you want to craft weapons of war, head to Miami! Obviously, this is American specific info, so if you're an abroad reader, be sure to check your own regions for their own respective bonuses.

Secondly, and much more big picture though, I think these regional bonuses could extremely contextualize how offensive / defensive military operation are created / focused on by various countries. For example, Mexico lacks the bonuses of our Floridian land, so the USA may want to keep an extra set of eyes on that territory, as it's bonus makes it incredibly valuable compared to other perkless lands in the US.

Overall, I found this to be interesting, especially in terms of how it can frame both short and long term game decisions. Do you know more about how these Geographical bonuses are decided? Please let me know in some form of communication to me- all forms are open / accepted! :)
