Update on Portugal:
In a recent newspaper from Portugal’s Minister of Defense, Prof. Salazar, it was revealed that there will be no reduction in the minimum wage—because, obviously, everyone should be able to manage their own money. To boost self-sufficiency, the government is encouraging every citizen to own a Q4 food factory. After all, what could be more effective than turning the entire population into food producers?
The National Defense will ensure a minimum wage of 20 PTE for members of Portuguese military units, regardless of their economic skills. And yes, everyone is expected to work for a National Defense company and be part of a military unit. It’s not exactly optional, but think of it as participation for the greater good.
This system is also open to private investments aimed at supporting industrial development. With Portugal already at war with Spain and Sweden, it’s clear that the nation is mobilizing for the long haul. Does this have anything to do with the rise of the new Anarchist Party? We’re not sure yet, but we might find out soon.
