What are we actually trying to do in Congress?

25 September is getting closer.

REVP is entering the Congress election with 10 candidates, and over the past few days we've been preparing them for what comes after the election—not just for the election itself.

We could publish a huge list of promises.

Instead, we've kept our proposed priorities fairly simple.

🛡️ SECURITY

India needs to be prepared.

Recent events have shown that military decisions can affect much more than the battlefield. Weapons, production, resources, territory and diplomacy are all connected.

Our proposed approach is to support military preparedness while making sure major decisions are properly understood before they are taken.

💰 ECONOMY

We also want to see more citizens involved in India's economy.

That means companies producing, workers finding opportunities, traders doing business and new players getting enough guidance to understand how things work.

A strong economy isn't created by a few players doing everything. It needs participation from across the country.

Our proposed economic focus is therefore on production, employment, business and trade, while keeping an eye on the effects of taxes and other economic decisions.

🏛️ CONGRESS

And then there is the Congress itself.

Winning a seat is not the finish line.

A Congressman needs to check proposals, understand what they actually change and participate in the decisions that affect the country.

Our candidates are being prepared for exactly that.

They should be willing to ask questions when something isn't clear, discuss proposals with others and explain important decisions to the people they represent.

We won't agree with every other party on everything. That's politics.

But disagreement doesn't mean that every proposal from another party should automatically be rejected either.

The proposal should be judged on what it actually does.

👥 THE REVP CANDIDATES

REVP will contest the election with:

Sid1802
Ren Kaji
Om Joshi
Rohit
Herofighterz
Raj Pro
Agent 47
Crazygoogles
Agro General
Tejasjamkar

They don't all have the same level of experience.

That's why preparation matters.

ONE LAST THING

This is a party newspaper, so obviously we're going to present our own side.

But citizens don't have to accept it blindly.

Question us.

Challenge our ideas. Ask our candidates what they would do. Compare what different parties are saying.

And after the election, judge representatives by what they actually do in Congress.

25 September is the election.

The campaign is only the beginning.
