A slightly longer edition this time: these notes cover 20 → 28 September, both days included.

Last time, we looked at new ways to end a war. Since then, tournaments have found their place in the Stadium, an occupation can cut a defender's supply route before the war is over, and country leaders have new tools for keeping their chats usable. Here is what changed.

Tournaments Enter the Stadium

The tournament browser now separates Live, Upcoming and Finished events. Cards show who organized each tournament, what first place wins, the entry cost and prize pot, and when registration or the tournament starts. You can see eligibility and capacity before opening an event.

🏟️ Follow the competition. Tournament pages now lead with their cover art and show the registration window, the bracket and, when it is over, the champion's podium. An in-progress bracket updates as matches advance. Search for a team or jump to it to highlight its route; open a match card to reach its battle.

📱 A bracket that fits your phone. Read one round at a time and swipe between rounds, or open the full tree with a tap. Each team's page traces its own path through opponents, live matches and results, alongside its roster and statistics.

🛠️ Clearer tools for organizers. Creating a tournament now has a live cover preview and explains what still prevents submission. Managing one gives a clearer start-time editor, using server time, and an in-game confirmation before cancellation.

Supply Lines Follow the Front

The Supply Cut Off battle effect now responds to provisional occupations. If an occupation breaks a defender's route to its capital, the affected defenders deal 10% less damage without waiting for the war's final territorial settlement. A clear alternative route restores the connection, and a level 4 military base protects its region from this penalty.

⚔️ Military-unit orders are easier to follow. Featured war cards mark the side a unit has been ordered to support. Officers can set a unit's battle priority from 1 to 5; entering a battle selects its ordered side when the game has not already forced a side or the player made another choice.

📜 One declaration at a time. Countries can no longer place a second pending war-declaration proposal against the same opponent, even by reversing who declares on whom. The first proposal must be resolved before another is filed.

Country Chats Get Moderation Tools

A country's president, vice president and public relations minister can now mute a player from posting in that country's nationality or local chat. Open the action beside a sender's name, choose 15 minutes, 1 hour, 6 hours, 1 day or 7 days, and give a reason. The same action can remove an existing mute. A muted player sees the reason and when it ends; the server enforces the posting restriction.

👋 A quieter welcome for new citizens. A recruit's welcome conversation initially appears to the recruit alone. It enters the cabinet's conversation list after the recruit replies. Officers can also clear an onboarding conversation from their own list; a new message brings it back.

Why this matters

The Stadium makes it easier to join a tournament, follow a team and understand the prize at stake. On the battlefield, taking land can now change the defender's supply situation immediately. Country leaders also have a focused way to handle disruptive posting without blocking a player from the game.

Other changes this period

Politics & accounts

🗳️ Elections now appear as illustrated ballots with candidates or parties, vote totals, timing and winners. You can switch the country you are viewing from the election page. When a proposal needs both Congresses, each chamber now has its own vote bar.

🏛️ Active ballots stay active. Nationality requests now go only to an active president and deputies. A confirmed deletion makes an account inactive during its grace period. Once deletion is finalized, its shares stop counting toward holding CEO and share-issuance votes, while its economic ownership remains on record.

🔐 Account deletion is clearer. Settings explains the impact before you proceed. Deletion requires email confirmation and has a 14-day grace period; signing in during that period cancels it. Registration and username changes also reject @ and names made only of invisible characters.

Economy & travel

🏭 Company founding now previews the business as you name it and choose its logo, location, owner and quality. The preview shows the selected quality's production inputs and output, including the output item's quality tier. The owner picker is grouped and searchable.

⛏️ Gold Mine estimates now separate base yield, equipment and skill bonuses, shift duration and the server-wide gold multiplier, so you can see where the estimate comes from. This is a display change to the estimate, not a new payout rule.

🎒 Storage shows an item's full count, description, quality and weight when you hover or hold it on touch. Grand Bazaar pack previews now list every item instead of stopping after six. Using a medkit no longer appears to consume both a regular and a bound copy.

🚆 Travel ticket cards now show their energy cost. If your remembered no-ticket choice is no longer affordable, you can pick another way to travel instead of getting stuck. On touch screens, opening an auction bid no longer raises the keyboard over Confirm.

💎 Promo codes can now award bound gems, including codes redeemed during registration.

Interface, sound & reading

🎓 The University has become an illustrated Academy, with clearer faculty tabs, study progress and donation controls.

🎵 More of the world has a voice. Two shared music themes and additional tracks for 21 countries have joined the rotation. New interface sound cues accompany actions around the game; the map also plays hover cues for cities, country names, fighters and builders in their relevant views, respecting your game-sound volume.

📱 On phones, optional campaign reminders show the next objective when the screen is clear, and the quick actions and resource bars take less room. Settings has a more readable section list and footer. War Aims no longer covers the round points in portrait battles.

📖 Newspaper articles and their editor now handle right-to-left writing correctly. An edit link you cannot use opens the readable article instead. The building restriction view now opens with the site's art, progress and builders, and its exit remains clickable over the ranking.

🧰 For tool makers: public API keys now have a limit of 50,000 requests per account per day. The API key panel shows today's usage and remaining allowance; requests above the limit receive HTTP 429.

That's this edition! Find a team to follow, check the road back to your capital, or lend a hand at the Academy. Tell us what you think, and see you on the battlefield!
