Hello readers, and more specifically (hopefully) my fellow Americans!

My name is Bronzend, an aspiring Eclesiar addict who's learning and growing in any possible way that I can. Whether it be my businesses which get most of my attention, my war participation, or the newspaper you're reading right now, I've had a great time getting involved in various things (thanks to the help of all the American leaders who've given me advice / tips / help along the way, btw). I take pride in working hard and learning what I can about the various systems in this game, and as a result I've had my eye on one in particular: politics!

In the USA, there are two major parties, one heavily populated party that holds all governmental power (known as "The Socialist Party of the United States") and another rather unpopulated party (known as "Ghost Militia") that holds no power at all. The Socialists appear to be rather responsive to the times, essentially serving as the uniparty of the USA and adjusting their ideology to the strategic needs of their current circumstance- a stance which I find rather tactical overall. However, I am also one who believes in the marketplace of ideas, and have some clash to offer on certain issues that I would believe best be expressed under a different party / ideology at times.

As such, I've felt the need to declare myself a candidate for the upcoming Party Leader election for the Ghost Militia, as I believe I can steer this alternate party away from inactivity and more towards being a useful cog in the American political machine. With a small influx of new blood thanks to the Steam release / player growth from it, I believe the Ghost Militia is in a fun spot to get some solid political clash and gameplay going in the United States, serving as friendly competition for the Socialist bloc. Enough about the status now, and onto the bigger reason I write this article: WHY SHOULD I, a random week old player, BE THE LEADER OF THE GHOST MILITIA PARTY?

First, I have a vast amount of leadership experience in other games, most notably in other MMOs as well. While they aren't quite as political / map-based as this one, I know that I can devote the time and energy necessary to be an active and effective Party Leader. Second, I have a rather solid groundwork for goals and gameplans based on preliminary discussions with a lot of our own members already, but most importantly, am responsive and open to the opinions / ideas / desires of our group! I know this is a group game, and that nothing is accomplished based on the whims of a single person alone. Our party will be no different under my leadership. Finally, I believe I'm the most active, involved, and ingrained of the candidates available / that've declared candidacy so far! No slight to the rest of the candidates, as they're great folks based on the chats I've been able to have with them so far- but I'm more than double the level / military rank of any of these folks, and also (via things like my larger business network / newspaper interaction) showcase a general higher level of activity, something I believe critical for the leader of a political party in this game.

With all of this in mind, I really hope that the members of the Ghost Militia will consider voting me in as their Party Leader in the upcoming election.
