Warsaw (not in Indiana), once a green capital, now by chance, natural disaster, or deliberate design, Warsaw is a ghosted desert.
50 days passed since I saw an inconspicuous note in the biggest Polish online content aggregator. I guess that some of the readers, myself included, had flashbacks from 2009, when a similar call to arms was made regarding another online game (I don't want to advertise anything). It was probably seen by a small fraction of users, but that was enough to cause an unprecedented number of new accounts registered in Eclesiar. My first impressions are that it's more indie than I had expected, but maybe because of that, it is an enjoyable ride so far. Regarding the so-called "pay to win", I think it's not the case here. Obviously, some funds are needed basically for the maintenance, and precisely because of that, I made a small donation once I realized that I'm dealing with such a grassroots enterprise.
As for my gameplay experience. The first days I was doing nothing besides working and training, the so-called 2-click. Gradually I became more active, finally started participating in battles and exploring the variety of economic possibilities. What I like about this game is that you don't have to put in a lot of time, but you can.
Well-designed battle rules, although I've heard some voices claiming that sometimes you have to be glued to ensure that the round's won. Another voiced issue is no limit on medkits used in a round, but I guess it won't be a problem with a higher number of players.
As for the current situation within the game. I have to admit that I'm proud of the Polish nuclear development, i.e. lack of it. Correct me if I'm wrong, but Poland is the only major country that did not produce any nukes since day 1. Another thing is that during the previous term the Polish government didn't even appoint the Minister of Defense for almost an entire month.
I wonder if Jajan's departure after a round number of 10 terms will have similar implications on Polish politics as George Washington's decision that two terms are enough and procure an unwritten rule regarding the maximum length of reign.

Although the month before June could have been summed up by the Manaam song "Wyjątkowo zimny maj", I have a feeling July is going to be really hot. Will this affect the political temperature and possibly procure a new global conflict? Probably not, but feel free to share your opinions. I'm also interested in what is your biggest surprise regarding Eclesiar. As a rather new player, I'm not familiar with the past conflicts and personal feuds, so perhaps we can just skip over those.
TLDR: 50 days behind. Will there be another 50? Hard to tell.
I want to express my gratitude to the founder(s), developers, the administrative staff, and the players themselves for creating the immersive experience. Thank you!
