New to ECLESIAR: How to Survive the First Days
I remember that feeling: I downloaded the game everyone is talking about, you click “Start” for an epic adventure... and fifteen minutes later you close your laptop in a panic. Too many buttons, incomprehensible terms, and unfamiliar abbreviations flash in the chat. Familiar? Welcome to the club.
Today we will talk about Eclesiar – a free browser strategy, where thousands of real players simultaneously build the economy, participate in elections and fight for territories. If you have just registered, this text is for you.
First Rule: Everyone Was New at One Time
Eclesiar is not a game where you can quickly figure it out. There are three large strata: economy, politics and war. Trying to cover everything at once is a sure way to burn out. Choose one direction to start. If you want to make money, go to the economy. Pull to power - understand politics. Love battles, train and fight.
What is energy and why does it decide everything?
In Eclesiar, energy is the main resource. It is spent on training, work, combat, travel and construction. Recovery - 1 unit every 2 minutes.
Food restores energy: Q1 gives 10 units, Q2 20, and so on to Q5, which gives 50. The food limit is restored more slowly - 1 unit every 45 minutes.
What does that mean in practice? You can't do everything at once. Every action is a choice. And beginners are most often mistaken here: they throw energy without bringing any line to the result.
Everyday tasks are your first salary
Every midnight on server time, the game produces 8 daily tasks. For each, 0.4 gold. Completed all eight - received 3.2 gold plus prestige points for a combat pass.
This is the most stable “salary” of a beginner. Gold will be needed for the first company (about 10 gold), equipment or trading.
Some tasks are performed alone: put the product on the market and buy it yourself (just do not put the minimum price, otherwise someone will be ahead). For the foreign exchange market, the trick won’t work – you have to ask for help in chat or Discord.
University: Where to put glasses
Eclesiar has a university with two branches of skills - economic and military. Skills are unlocked when you put in items or energy and achieve 75% progress.
Important detail: the progress of skills is reduced daily by 4 points per hour. If you start to build a skill, you have to maintain it constantly.
For a beginner, there are two obvious choices:
Bigger Income (Economics) – daily tasks yield 25% more gold
Gym Rat – Training gives twice as much strength
Choose one and invest in it until you open it.
Don't waste money on Erunda
A tip that will save you weeks: Don't buy the Q4 and Q5 bread or weapons at the start. Your salary is too low for that. Save for the first company - raw materials or weapons. Selling wheat or iron is more profitable than titanium or oil.
Check the map: Pollution and regional bonuses affect production. This can give you an advantage over those who just press the button.
Don't stay alone.
Eclesiar is a social game. Ask in the world chat how to complete the task. Go to Discord and they respond quickly and without toxicity, because everyone understands that the newcomer today is the ally tomorrow.
Instead of Conclusions
Eclesiar doesn't forgive fuss. You can’t “pump in the evening.” But if you’re ready for slow, thoughtful progress, this game will give you what many lack: the feeling that your decisions are making a real difference. Don't be afraid to make mistakes. Every lost fight and every failed investment is an experience. Good luck, citizen.
