Welcome to a new edition of Get to know Mexican states! For this bulletin, we will focus on NORTHERN STATES, which tend to be the hottest, desertical, and the places from where American movies took actual inspiration to form stereotypes.

Sinaloa

Fun fact: Sinaloa is known for their music and distinctive culture, the Sinaloan Band or "Tambora" is one of the best known musical genders in Mexico.

Sad extra fact: Sinaloa (in real life) is currently facing a crisis called "Culi4can4zo", which is a war between dangerous organizations (You probably heard about it). The beautiful state is being killed. The rest of us Mexicans pray for them, as it's not a well-known crisis worldwide. Free Sinaloa!

Sonora

Sonora is the second biggest state which borders american Arizona.

Fun fact: Shark Island (Isla Tiburón) is the biggest island in Mexico, and the holy place of the Seri people. Before visiting it, you must ask for permission of the God.

Chihuahua

Chihuahua, apart from being a dog breed, it's the largest Mexican state.

Fun fact: Chihuahua is bigger than Japan or the UK, or than the American state of Utah or Nevada.
