GOVERNMENT COALITION AGREEMENT


Through this document, the New Argentina Party and Liberal Party agree to establish a government coalition for the Argentine Republic, committed to sharing the executive responsibilities and ensuring the participation of both political forces in the conduct of the nation, in accordance with the following clauses:


CLAUSULA 1 - ELECTION OF THE PRESIDENT AND Vice-President

The party that gets the more votes in national elections shall have the right to elect the President of the Argentine Nation.

The party that gets the lower number of votes appoint the Vice-President of the Argentine Nation.

This provision shall apply regardless of which of the two parties is the winner.

CLAUSULA 2 - DISTRIBUTION OF MINISTERIES

The national cabinet is composed of six (6) ministersdistributed equally between the two political forces:

  • Three (3) ministers appointed by the New Argentina Party.

  • Three (3) ministers appointed by the Liberal Party.

Each party will have full power to elect its three ministers and determine the ministerial areas that they will occupy, in accordance with their own criteria and priorities of government.

CLAUSULA 3 - PRIORITY IN THE ELECTION OF MINISTERIES

The party that gets the more votes in national elections you will have priority to first select the ministerial areas to be occupied by your three representatives.

Once the winning party has elected its three ministries, the party with fewer votes will proceed to select the ministerial areas corresponding to its own three representatives.

This priority will not change the equal distribution of the six ministries set out in Regulation 2.

CLAUSULA 4 - NATURE OF THE AGREEMENT

This Agreement shall be in character. permanent and can only be cancelled with the approval of both Presidents of the New Argentina Party and Liberal Party. It will establish the basis for political cooperation between the New Argentina Party and the Liberal Party for the formation of coalition governments in Argentina.

Both sides undertake to respect the provisions set out here and to cooperate in the formation of the Executive, regardless of which of the two forces gets the majority of the votes in future elections.

CLAUSULA 5 - ACCEPTATION AND SIGNATURES

By signing this document, both parties declare their conformity with all the clauses and undertake to respect and comply with the terms of this permanent coalition agreement.
