A big interview with Sovi18 about Moscow’s return, behind-the-scenes diplomacy, international wars, a rookie army, and rumors you shouldn’t believe.

"True, but not exactly" | Special Edition

From the editorial board. Beyond the Peace Treaty

In our first issue, we talked about an event that could change the political map of Eclesiar: a peace agreement between New Russia and the Khaxian Empire, providing for the return of Moscow, and Russia’s accession to the international alliance.

But the official statements left many questions.

Why did the parties take so long to reach peace? Who called for an end to the conflict? Is the return of Moscow really just the beginning of a larger change?

The editorial board “Truth, but not exactly” decided to address the participants of historical events directly.

Our first interviewee was Sovi18 is an empress of the Haxian Empire, one of the key figures of the URL and the owner of an unusual nickname “Queen of the Red Ants”.

The first surprise awaited the correspondent before the interview.

Assuming that the Empress does not speak Russian, our journalist prepared an invitation in English.

The answer was surprisingly simple:

You can write to me in Russian if you want; after all, I am Russian xD.

So our international journalism started with a little language error.

However, the newspaper’s name warned readers in advance of such circumstances.

I. A conflict that might not have happened

Taifer: What was the main reason for your decision to end the conflict with New Russia?

Sovi18:

I never wanted this conflict, because there are Russians in Haxian, and I didn’t want us comrades to confront each other.

According to the empress, the desire to stop the confrontation existed from the very beginning.

However, one wish was not enough.

Sovi18:

The conflict dragged on because we negotiated both inside the Empire and in the URL.

“I wanted to stop this conflict from the beginning.”

Thus, according to Sovi, the peace agreement was the result of long-term agreements at several political levels.

It turned out that even the imperial power did not eliminate the need to negotiate.

Sometimes it takes a long time to negotiate.

Moscow: the return that was planned for a long time

The next topic was Moscow, the historic capital of Russia and the centerpiece of the agreement.

Taifer: Why did the Khaxian Empire agree to hand over the capital of New Russia? Was this decision made at the beginning of the negotiations or was it the result of a compromise?

Sovi18:

The Khaxian Empire always wanted to liberate Moscow.

But we wanted to wait until the end of the world war or to return other Russian territories.

The decision to liberate Moscow has always been, the situation has just escalated until we came to what we have.

Sovi’s response suggests that Moscow’s return was not an unexpected last-minute concession.

However, the timing hinged on the broader international conflict and plans for other regions.

This is where the conversation became particularly interesting.

III. What will happen to the other territories?

Taifer: You mentioned that other Russian territories were also being considered. What regions were we talking about?

Sovi18:

“I’m talking about territories controlled by foreign states that are not allies of the URL.”

Taifer: And is the return of these territories part of the long-term plans of the Haxian Empire?

Sovi18:

Of course, this is still our goal, but now it will not be for Khaxian, but for New Russia.

This was followed by a statement that deserves special attention from Russian readers:

I promised to give the Russian regions of New Russia.

In other words, Sovi claims that he is considering the return of the regions not for the sake of territorial expansion of the Khaxian Empire, but in the interests of New Russia.

But how can we transfer territories that are now ruled by other states?

Our correspondent asked for clarification.

Taifer: Is this about a diplomatic settlement, military support from Haxian and the URL, or is there already some agreed plan?

Sovi18:

“We are now waiting for the end of the world war.”

“Many URL countries want their regions back.”

The URL is a defensive alliance, so first things will happen peacefully with other foreign countries.

And finally:

But the plan is already there, and it certainly changes as the world war goes on.

So, according to the Empress, there is a plan. However, it depends on the development of the world war, and diplomacy should become the primary instrument of settlement.

Specific dates and a full list of territories Sovi did not name.

The editorial board considers it important to emphasize: The political promise does not amount to the transfer of territories.

We spoke separately with the Vice President of New Russia JA about how these plans are coordinated with the Russian side.

But about that in the next interview.

A friend called to help Argentina. Then it all wrapped up.

After a serious conversation about international relations, we decided to find out how the political career of our interlocutor began.

Taifer: Tell me how your story started at Eclesiar. Did you initially want to be involved in politics and run the state or did it happen by accident?

Sovi18:

A friend called me to save Argentina and I became the leader of the revolution.

I went from being the leader of the revolution to the leader of Argentina.

Then I founded the URL, became the Queen, and finally the Empress of Haxian.

Admittedly, this development of events our correspondent did not expect.

Imagine the usual situation:

A friend invites you to the game to help one country.

You agree.

Then there's a revolution, you lead a state, you form an international alliance, you become queen, and then you become empress.

It’s a standard way for a beginner.

The editorial staff only hopes that the friend who invited Sovi to save Argentina realized the scale of the consequences of his offer.

V. The Fifth World War and the Queen of the Red Ants

Taifer: What was the most memorable moment of all this time? Maybe an important decision, an unusual event, or just a funny story?

Sovi18:

“Two important things happened: first, the newly founded URL won the Fifth World War.”

“Secondly, I helped new players, which made my army very large.”

This is why I am known as the Queen of the Red Ants.

Of course, such an unusual nickname could not go unnoticed by our editorial staff.

As it turned out, behind it is the history of a large army of newcomers.

Sovi18:

“I had an army of newcomers, but there were too many of them, and I handed out equipment and supplies.”

“That allowed us to turn quantity into quality.”

Instead of waiting for the emergence of experienced fighters, Sovi, according to her, helped novice players with security.

Thus, a large army was gradually transformed into a more organized and secure force.

And with it came a nickname that was remembered by other players.

Queen of the Red Ants.

Perhaps this is the case when the position of chief of supply would sound too modest.

VI. A little about the man behind the imperial title

Taifer: What brings you more pleasure in Eclesiar?

Sovi18:

“I’ve always loved politics and military, so Exlesiar is a great game for me.”

But, as it turns out, Sovi’s interests are not limited to government.

I am the director of CSK, a service that deals with espionage and sabotage.

At this point, our correspondent checked to see if the editorial door was closed.

Although, perhaps, for a professional intelligence service, such measures are no longer useful.

However, the conversation quickly returned to a more peaceful topic.

Sovi talked about her close friends, with whom she has been playing for many years.

Sovi18:

They are my close friends and we have been playing a lot of games together for a long time.

It is they who stand out for their devotion and loyalty that bind us together.

These words recall an important feature of Eclesiar.

Beyond national borders, political titles, wars, and alliances are ordinary players whose history of communication often begins long before the events we see today.

And for many of them, friends are the reason to come back to the game again and again.

VII. Really, but not exactly? The most ridiculous rumor

According to the nascent tradition of our young editorial staff, the final question should be a little frivolous.

After all, the name of the newspaper obliges it.

Taifer: What's the most ridiculous or funny rumor you've ever heard about you or the Haxian Empire? Was there any truth in him?

The answer was unexpected.

Sovi18:

The funniest rumor that made me laugh was that because of my chipmunk voice, everyone thought for a while.

"That I'm a little girl."

“Nevertheless, I’m over 18, and it’s even said that everyone is arguing about how old I really am.”

So let's summarize.

International negotiations? Got it.

Imperial title? Got it.

Your own intelligence service? There is, too.

A large army of Red Ants? Of course.

But to determine the age of the Empress by voice, some players did not work.

"Truth but not exact" officially refuses to investigate the matter.

Our experts say that there is not enough intelligence for this.

VIII. Instead of an afterword

Our conversation began with a discussion of a peace agreement between the New Russia and the Khaxian Empire.

But as a result, we learned much more.

Sovi18 shared its version of events surrounding the return of Moscow, told about future territorial plans, the history of the founding of the URL, the revolution in Argentina and the unusual path to the imperial title.

We heard a story about an army of newcomers, which gave rise to the nickname “Queen of the Red Ants”.

Even in a world of global military conflicts and international diplomacy, there is room for many years of friendship and simple human stories.

Of course, not all political questions have received definitive answers.

Plans for the return of other Russian territories still depend on the international situation and the decisions of the parties to the conflict.

But our task was not to announce the winners in advance or to predict the future.

We wanted to hear the other side. And we were given the opportunity to do that.

The editorial board of Truth but Not Exactly sincerely thanks Sovi18 for their time, openness and willingness to share their story.

It is especially pleasant that after the interview the Empress thanked our correspondent for the opportunity to speak and expressed her desire to read the finished article.

Hopefully the expectations will be met.

And if not, we remind you that the newspaper is called “Truth, but not exactly”.
