COMMON RESISTANCE
WW7: MILITARY VICTORY OR POLICY VICTORY?
A Marxist-Leninist analysis of the future of Ecclesiar
A 7th World War of Ecclesiar put the servant again before a reality that seemed to have stayed behind: two large political blocs disputed territory, influence and power.
On one side, The Bakers. On the other, Passifist.
Hundreds of players are involved in the conflict, and the numerical difference is huge. But for a Marxist-Leninist analysis, counting players, territories or military victories is not enough.
The fundamental question is:
Who benefits from the outcome of this war?
Military victory does not mean popular victory
A country can conquer territories and increase its influence without that representing any benefit to its population.
Likewise, losing a war does not necessarily mean losing politically.
For Marxism-Leninism, it is necessary to analyze the material interests behind politics.
Who controls the conquered territories?
Who controls your resources?
Who's gonna get richer?
Who will have greater influence?
And mostly, Who will pay for the costs of the war?
These questions are more important than simply observing which flag occupies more territory.
War is also an economic dispute
Ecclesiar is not only made up of armies.
Territories mean resources, production, taxes, trade and influence. Therefore, war can also be understood as a dispute for the control of wealth.
The territorial expansion of a state can increase its economic and political power.
This is precisely why the Communist Resistance rejects the idea that war is just a competition between players.
There is an economic dimension to every achievement.
And where is Brazil?
Brazil is directly involved in WW7, fighting alongside Passifist.
For us, this requires critical analysis.
It is not enough to ask if Brazil is winning or losing.
We need to ask:
Which Brazilian interests are being defended?
Who benefits from Brazilian conquests?
Does the growth of Brazilian state power also mean improvement for workers?
A militarily powerful Brazil is not automatically a socially fair Brazil.
The Future of Ecclesiar
From the Marxist-Leninist point of view, the true meaning of WW7 will not be determined only by the block that ends with more territories.
The historical outcome of the war will also depend on who will control the wealth produced, who will have political power and what living conditions the workers will have after the conflict.
A military victory can redesign the map.
A political victory can alter power relations.
But a social transformation requires something much greater: alter the own economic relations that concentrate wealth and power.
Therefore, the Communist Resistance does not treat WW7 as a simple sport dispute between two sides.
We will observe the conflict from the interests of the working class.
We don't ask just who will win the war.
We're asking who's going to stop it.
