Hello, citizens of Eclesiar!
The war update announced in our previous article is now live, as of 15 October 2026. The changes scheduled for today have been released, including their application to existing wars as previously announced. Please revisit that article for the full rules.
Our next step is a focused balance update on 22 October 2026. We are continuing to address the remaining balance issues and smaller details, with changes to Scavenger Gold and Desert and Forest squads. Here is what is coming, so you can plan ahead.
22 October: Scavenger Gold and Traded Equipment
We are closing the loop that lets equipment bought from other players be turned straight into Scavenger Gold. From this update, Scavenger will pay only for the portion of a piece that came from the game itself.
New player transfers: equipment bought at auction, received through a contract, or awarded by a player-funded tournament will carry a 100% player-traded share. These pieces will not pay Scavenger Gold.
Game-provided equipment: pieces from drops, missions, the shop, Battle Pass and official prizes remain eligible for their normal Scavenger payout.
Merged equipment: the result carries the average player-traded share of its five inputs. Scavenger pays for the remaining portion.
Classic scrapping: breaking a piece into lower-quality equipment remains available under the normal rules. Both resulting pieces inherit its player-traded share.
For example, merging four entirely game-provided pieces and one entirely player-traded piece produces equipment with a 20% traded share. It can receive 80% of its normal Scavenger Gold quote.
Existing equipment will not be retroactively marked as traded. Earlier purchases keep their normal Scavenger eligibility. A later transfer to another player will apply the new rule.
The base Scavenger valuation table by quality remains unchanged. Equipping, merging and trading equipment remain available. Training will show the traded percentage and its effect on Gold, while auction and contract screens will explain the rule before a transfer.
22 October: Desert Squad Adjustment
Desert squads will retain their energy-saving role, with a smoother progression and a maximum energy reduction of 50%. Levels 1 and 2 keep their current bonuses; levels 3 to 5 are reduced:
Squad level | Current energy reduction | From 22 October |
|---|---|---|
1 | 10% | 10% |
2 | 20% | 20% |
3 | 35% | 30% |
4 | 45% | 40% |
5 | 60% | 50% |
At level 5, a desert hit will cost 10 energy instead of 8, before university study effects. This keeps the top Desert squad's cost at the ordinary 10-energy terrain baseline before those effects.
22 October: A Small Forest Squad Boost
Forest squads will gain a small damage bonus in forests alongside their existing accuracy bonus:
Squad level | Accuracy bonus retained | New squad damage bonus |
|---|---|---|
1 | +3% | +1% |
2 | +6% | +2% |
3 | +9% | +3% |
4 | +12% | +4% |
5 | +15% | +5% |
The new damage bonus joins the existing combat bonus calculation. Both squad types still require the appropriate terrain and a military-unit order for the battle and the side you are fighting on.
