A free and competitive economic policy
Dear members,
Welcome to the first part of a five-part series dedicated to outlining the Liberal Movement for the general public. This section deals with the economic policy we wish to implement.
Unsurprisingly, we believe that the "capitalist" ideology is currently the most suitable for eFrance. However, our conviction is not based on a systematic opposition to all state intervention, but rather on the specific situation of our country. Given our small number, the production bonus granted to non-compete corporations (NPCs) is crucial for ensuring a satisfactory level of national productivity, thereby strengthening the attractiveness of our market.
We want a state whose intervention in the markets remains limited and targeted. The state's role is not to replace entrepreneurs, but to create the conditions that allow them to produce, invest, and trade. In the first market, the state is, in our view, an important player in guaranteeing the best conditions for sectors lacking producers. We prioritize local private actors, then international ones if the situation requires it. In the currency market, the state must ensure sufficient circulation of our national currency both within the French community and internationally, without becoming its sole supplier.
Taxes must remain moderate, allowing the state to function properly without stifling players. We favor an open market for all, but French businesses and small producers remain a priority in the face of international competition during times of crisis. Wages must strike a balance: allowing players and NPCs a respectable purchasing power without restricting employers.
