Today, a party has been formed that does not bargain for posts, does not boo for favors and does not believe that capitalism allows itself to be put into a human condition by polite requests: The Left – Socialist Alternative.

It arises for all those who have had enough of capitalism, which makes work a commodity value and declares people as cost centers. For all those who have had enough of the nationalism of the Knightly Order National, which divides people into “we” and “them out there” to play them off against each other. For all those who have had enough of the imperialism of the Order of Knights Imperial, which seeks raw materials, markets and spheres of influence everywhere – and where resistance comes, speaks of “order” and “security”.

No more protests without perspective

It is not enough to complain of maladministration. It is not enough to make a cross every four years and then watch as conditions continue. An alternative does not start in parliament, but where people realize that their situation is not a law of nature: in the workplaces, in the neighborhoods, at the universities, in the clinics, on the streets.

The Socialist Alternative wants to collect, connect and translate these experiences into a common political force. Not a party of know-it-alls, but an organization of those who pay the bills: the wage-earners, the exploited, the discriminated, the young people to whom the future is sold as debt, precarious jobs and climate catastrophe.

Against capital, nation and domination

Capitalism says that competition is freedom. In truth, it means for some people the freedom to own – and for others the freedom to sell themselves in order to survive. He says that growth is progress. In truth, it often means return for the few and destruction for the many.

Nationalism says that the people are one. In truth, it divides those who must work together, live together and fight together. He turns social questions into national enemy images: instead of asking about wages, rents and power, he asks about origin, passport and border.

Imperialism says: interest is security. In truth, it means that the interests of powerful states and corporations are enforced with soldiers, sanctions, dependencies and wars. By contrast, internationalism – not as a phrase, but as a practice of solidarity across borders.

What the Party Wants

The Left – Socialist Alternative advocates a society in which it is not profit that decides, but need:

  • Democratic control over enterprises, banks and key industries.

  • Social security without humiliation: housing, health, education and livelihood security as rights, not as a market commodity.

  • Open borders for those seeking protection and solidarity instead of isolation.

  • Disarmament, peace and a foreign policy without loot.

Join – but not as a spectator

This party does not become strong by having a name on a ballot. It is strongly influenced by people who participate, discuss, organize, distribute newspapers, attend meetings and no longer accept what should be accepted in their everyday lives.

Anyone who says that politics is meaningless has usually only not yet found an organization in which meaning arises. Anyone who says that conditions are stronger has not yet experienced how people recognize their strength together.

The Left – Socialist Alternative is founded. It is not an offer of adaptation, but an invitation to resistance. Join. Organize. Make politics out of indignation.
