WE FIGHT FOR REVOLUTION
No war on CHILE!
After losing control of the Amazon to Ukraine, Brazil declares war on Chile. The contradiction is evident: how to denounce the conquest of our territory while opening a new front against another country?
THE CONTRADITION OF THE BRAZILIAN DISCURSE
The Amazon was conquered by Ukraine. Brazil faces a territorial loss and a political crisis within WW7.
But instead of concentrating the debate on the cost of war and the future of its population, the country declared war on Chile, paving the way for another conflict.
We need to ask: if the conquest of territories by foreign powers is a problem, why should the brazilian military expansion be treated differently?
Sovereignty cannot be an applied principle only when it suits us.
Imperialism does not change its name according to the flag.
From the Marxist-Leninist point of view, imperialism must be analyzed by relations of power, economic interests and the expansion of state influence — not only by the identity of those who lead the war.
When a government seeks to expand its territorial domain and its influence through force, it is necessary to examine the objectives of this policy and its consequences for the peoples involved.
We cannot condemn the expansion of one power and automatically justify that of another.
If the war against Chile aims to conquer territory or impose Brazilian interests, the country needs to answer a fundamental question: what is the justification for opening this new front?
Without a convincing explanation, the declaration of war risks representing the continuity of the same logic of territorial dispute that threatens Brazil itself.
WHO PAYS FOR THE NEXT WAR?
Every new front requires resources, mobilization and capacity to sustain the conflict.
These resources could be intended for economic recovery, reconstruction of the affected regions and the needs of the population.
While governments dispute power, the interests of workers cannot disappear from the debate.
Who will bear the costs of war? Who will benefit from a possible victory? And what will be the consequences for the Chilean and Brazilian population?
A military victory is not automatic synonymous with popular victory.
SOBERANIA FOR ALL PEOPLE
The liberation of the Amazon should not serve as justification for a policy of unlimited conquests.
If we defend Brazil's right to decide its own future, we need to recognize that the peoples of other countries also have interests, rights and sovereignty.
An internationalist perspective requires solidarity between workers, regardless of borders, and a critical analysis of the decisions taken by all governments.
The Chilean people should not be reduced to an obstacle to the objectives of another state. Similarly, the Brazilian people should not be treated only as an instrument of a dispute between governments.
WW7 CAN'T BE A EXCUSE FOR EVERYTHING
The war created an exceptional situation in Ecclesiar, but this does not make every military decision necessary or justifiable.
Brazil needs to explain its objectives, the expected costs and the consequences of its statement against Chile.
If the intention is to recover the Amazon, how will a new war contribute to this goal? If the intention is to expand the Brazilian territory, why should this expansion be accepted as legitimate while condemning the Ukrainian conquest?
These questions are not secondary. They are essential to assess the coherence of Brazilian policy.
DO NOT DESIGN THE IMPERIALISM OF OTHERS. WE NEED TO QUESTION OUR OWN.
The Amazon remains a central issue for the future of Brazil. But the loss of a territory does not automatically transform any subsequent war into a just cause.
Sovereignty cannot be an excuse for the domination of other peoples.
A Communist Resistance advocates that WW7 be analyzed beyond flags, alliances and promises of victory: we need to examine who holds power, what interests are at stake and who bears the costs of conflicts.
Because, if each conquest justifies a new war, Ecclesiar will remain trapped in a cycle of expansion, retaliation and suffering.
